金麗華 蟬聯環保酒店獎

　　由澳門環境保護局主辦、澳門旅遊局協辦的「澳門環保酒店獎」由2007年起開展，至今已舉辦到第三屆。金麗華酒店連續三年獲評審團肯定在持續改善環境表現的工作，確認可保持「澳門環保酒店」榮譽。

　　金麗華酒店一向致力貢獻社會，為使員工認識環境管理的好處，在日常營運中採用環保原則，鼓勵員工節約能源，減少耗用紙張及將垃圾進行分類回收。另外，為了向員工宣揚環保訊息，該酒店於員工餐廳內張貼環保資訊，更透過電郵更新消息。酒店管理層亦會定期召開環保會議，瞭解環保的最新趨勢及訊息，為環境保護作出一點貢獻。

　　與此同時，金麗華酒店亦致力參與政府舉辦的環保活動，例如澳門環境保護局舉辦的保障水資源講座、響應「綠色出行，你我同行」及「熄燈一小時」活動，及參與能源業發展辦公室主辦的「澳門節約能源周」等。未來，金麗華酒店將繼續積極參與及宣揚環保概念，與大家一同維護澳門美好的環境。

GRAND LAPA, MACAU AWARDED AS “MACAU GREEN HOTEL” FROM 2007 TO 2009

　　Grand Lapa, Macau has been recognised with the "Macau Green Hotel Award" from 2007 to 2009, which is organised by the Environment Council of Macau in collaboration with the Macau Government Tourist Office. This award was first launched in 2007 and has been designed to appreciate the contribution of Macau hotels towards environmental protection.

　　In response to increased environmental awareness and expectations of customers, Grand Lapa, Macau has responded by putting environmental-management best practices into its daily operation. Some of the environmental measures accomplished by the hotel in 2009 include: introduction of environmental information in its orientation program, conducting of green seminar for management members, adoption of energy efficient products to reduce energy consumption, reported environmental activities in staff canteen or through e-mails, etc.

　　Moreover, the hotel appointed the Green Committee as leader to foster a green culture among the staff, by participating environmental protection activities which held by Macau Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA), such as Green Seminar on Water Conservation, “Green Walk” activity and “Earth Hour” campaign for saving energy, as well as by participating in “Macau Energy Conservation Week” held by the Development of the Energy Sector in 2009.

　　In the future, Grand Lapa, Macau will continue to emphasise the importance of environmental protection and improve its skills at green management. This will translate into a win-win situation for the industry and the environment of Macau.
